Custom tree and plant boxes made to order
Metro Trees currently build containers from a variety of materials to suit particular applications and budgets. For specific projects where clients require a containerized tree for decoration over a 5-8 year period, we can produce an economic planter to the dimensions required in treated pine. For more ornate containers we can clad a steel based shell with stone materials ranging from marble, bluestone and granite. Containers weight once planted can be designed to still allow for the use of a 2.5 tonne fork to access and lift to allow for relocation as required. Bottom up capillary water can also be added to allow for and surety of the plantings water requirements. Metro Trees is happy to provide detailed horticultural advice on the best plant and tree selections to suit the particular application.

Large treated pine constructed planters.
Metro Trees are happy to make these to order and to any particular size and shape. These are demountable to allow for root pruning, reuse and easy storage.
Custom stone clad planters.
A variety of stone or composite concrete panels can be constructed around a central internal frame. High grade stainless steel can be used to provide a high level of finish. These can be supplied with fork lifting channels for easy movement.
Galvanised mild steel containers
These can be custom manufactured for large scale tree use. The galvanizing provides strength in transport and longevity of the container. Drip irrigation can be installed internally for protection and frugal water use.
