Grevillea banksii is a highly variable species native to south-eastern Queensland. It has dark green, deeply dissected leaves. Flowers are typical Grevillea-type. Metropolitan Tree Growers are growing grafted forms of this species with either red or white flowers. The grafted form will typically grow to around 3.5 m tall and 1.5 m wide and will be highly advantageous where a fastigiated – short evergreen tree is required.
